About the Director Role
In embarking on a new era of growth and impact, Melbourne Business School is seeking an exceptional leader to become the Director, Executive Education Australia. Reporting to the Deputy Dean Executive Education, this Director is responsible for setting the strategy for the Australian operations and overseeing business development and sales; consulting and product design and delivery; external resourcing and partnerships; through to client and learner experience. They will also be providing strong people leadership across these operations.
The Director will contribute to the positioning of the School as the pre-eminent provider of executive education programs in Australia and a school of global standing. They will collaborate with the School’s Engagement and External Relations teams to build global linkages with other leading international business schools, executive education providers and target industry organisations more broadly.
Key Attributes for the Director
As a high quality candidate, you will have significant senior leadership experience in leading the growth and development of executive education within a world-renowned business school or professional services organisation. You will have demonstrated success in leading business operations, inclusive of business strategy, planning and P&L responsibility, with experience in challenging markets and complex organisational environments. Your commercial acumen will be strong, along with your experience in business development and establishing client relationships.
You will have demonstrated success in building a collegial culture that unites individuals and diverse teams, and working with internal and external stakeholders to effect mutually beneficial outcomes
